The MEC is located at Fisherman's Wharf in Channel Islands Harbor at the corner of
Victoria Ave. and Channel Islands Blvd.
Students in MST 190/195 courses develop exhibits, instruct k-8 lesson plans, lead tours and have individualized instruction at the center.
Students in the Marine Studies Program enjoy access to the harbor for class activities and utilize the live aquarium organisms for study.
Classes at the MEC include:
Oceanography, Geography, Marine Biology, MST 190/195. The Center also features lecture seminars that are open to the public. Lectures include topics on conservation and restoration of our marine environment and wildlife.
