Farmers Market Open on Sunday; Safety Measures In Place

The Channel Islands Harbor Farmer’s Market will be open this Sunday, and will be strictly monitoring the government requirements for social distancing.  The hours will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. as usual, but please do not come to the Market to socialize.

A number of safety measures are in place. For example, there is one entry in/one exit out, there will be a limited number of customers allowed in the market, shopping time per person is limited, vendors will bag your produce, and patrons must wear a mask to enter the market.

The Farmer’s Market prides itself in offering fresh fruit, vegetables and other food products, and the Market provides an open-air alternative to grocery store shopping.

As a reminder, please adhere to the rules below, which will be posted on signs at the Market:

  1. Keep 6-feet apart from other patrons and the vendors. There will be ground markings to identify 6-feet intervals at each vendor booth.
  2. Do not touch any products which you do not intend to purchase.
  3. Handwash regularly – follow handwashing procedures in restrooms.
  4. Wash all purchased produce before using.

We welcome you to come and shop at the Farmer’s Market, but please follow the rules or risk a future shut-down of the Market.
