The Channel Islands Harbor Farmer’s Market will be open this Sunday, and will be strictly monitoring the government requirements for social distancing. The hours will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. as usual, but please do not come to the Market to socialize.
A number of safety measures are in place. For example, there is one entry in/one exit out, there will be a limited number of customers allowed in the market, shopping time per person is limited, vendors will bag your produce, and patrons must wear a mask to enter the market.
The Farmer’s Market prides itself in offering fresh fruit, vegetables and other food products, and the Market provides an open-air alternative to grocery store shopping.
As a reminder, please adhere to the rules below, which will be posted on signs at the Market:
- Keep 6-feet apart from other patrons and the vendors. There will be ground markings to identify 6-feet intervals at each vendor booth.
- Do not touch any products which you do not intend to purchase.
- Handwash regularly – follow handwashing procedures in restrooms.
- Wash all purchased produce before using.
We welcome you to come and shop at the Farmer’s Market, but please follow the rules or risk a future shut-down of the Market.
