Learning to be safe on the water is the focus of the 15th Annual Channel Islands Harbor Safe Boating Expo.

This annual event, held on the first day of National Safe Boating Week, includes safety demonstrations on personal floatation devices as well as air, sea, and fire rescue demonstrations. Other highlights include free tours of public safety vessels, commercial booths, public safety agency booths and displays and hands-on exhibits. Admission is free.
