Boaters, kayakers, and paddleboarders – get ready to drop anchor, launch your craft, and enjoy live music right on harbor waters! The Channel Islands Harbor is thrilled to announce its first-ever “Concert on the Sea,” a floating celebration of music and community just for on-the-water adventurers.

Concert on the Sea will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at the Harbor’s main turning basin. This exciting new event is part of the Harbor’s 60th Anniversary celebration, created to give the boating and paddling community a unique way to join in the fun. For years, the Harbor has hosted the popular Concerts by the Sea summer series on land – now they are taking the show to the water!

Aboard the sportfishing vessel Estella provided by Fish With the Finest, local favorite band “Once More” will rock the harbor waters with a mix of classic hits – Chicago, Aretha Franklin, Tom Petty, and more. Whether you’re on a boat, paddleboard, or kayak, you’ll have the best seat in the house floating right in the main basin.

There are several great rental options right in the harbor:

• Hopper Boat Rentals at Fisherman’s Wharf offers electric boats, kayaks, and paddleboards.
• Channel Islands Kayak Center at Marine Emporium Landing provides kayak rentals.
• Southern California Jet Skis & Electric Boats, also at Marine Emporium Landing, rents electric boats.
