Channel Islands Harbor Academy is an outreach effort designed to educate residents about the Ventura County Harbor Department, key issues, and its staff.

The Harbor Academy consists of several monthly workshops that cover operational aspects of the Harbor – finances, planning & development, patrol & maintenance, the Channel Islands Boating Center and marketing & promotions.

The fifth and final workshop will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at the Channel Islands Maritime Museum, located at 3900 Bluefin Circle. Oxnard, CA 93035. The topic will cover marketing & promotion of the Harbor.
