Gypsies in a Trunk, an all-volunteer troupe of actors, performs fairy tales for the young and young at heart.  The troupe’s love of children’s theatre has led them to perform every May through September all over Ventura County.  The shows are free with donations suggested.

On August 4, 2019, Gypsies in a Trunk present, “Snow White in Neverland.” Here is a summary of the performance:

Peter Pan & Wendy are looking forward to a night out, but need a sitter for the Lost Boys…but who can they get? Hey, what about that new babysitting app!? One click later they get none other than Snow White! But while she’s busy with the kids, who shows up but that nefarious Captain Hook & Mr. Smee, out for some dastardly deeds, as usual! Thinking they found Peter Pan’s mother, they kidnap Snow White and take her to the Jolly Roger as THEIR mother for the crew! Boy, are THEY in for a surprise!
