The Ventura County Harbor Department is moving for The Ventura County Harbor Department is moving forward with a multi-phase project to redevelop its headquarters site, which will house administrative and patrol staff, and will include a hearing/community room. The building will be located at 3900 Pelican Way in Oxnard, on the site of the former headquarters.The original Harbor Department headquarters, constructed in 1968 and vacated in 2018, remained in disrepair after hazardous materials abatement. After the abatement in 2018, administrative and patrol staff moved into portable trailers nearby.This redevelopment effort modernizes essential Harbor operations and prepares the site for a new facility to better serve the public. 🚨SAVE THE DATE🚨 The Ventura County Harbor De 🚨SAVE THE DATE🚨 The Ventura County Harbor Department and Harbor & Beach Community Alliance (HBCA) are teaming up to spread holiday cheer this season by hosting the 6th Annual Holiday Food & Toy Drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on December 6, 2025 at the Harbor Landing parking lot off Harbor Blvd. The Holiday Food & Toy Drive will benefit @foodsharevc and the Spark of Love Toy Drive, an annual effort coordinated by local fire departments which provide toys to thousands of children each year. On the day of the event, donations will be accepted at a drop off location at the Harbor Landing parking lot, located at the Channel Islands Boulevard and Harbor Boulevard intersection. Volunteers will be there to safely accept the donations and provide them to Food Share and the Spark of Love Toy Drive. The goal is to raise a “boat load” of food and toys. In addition, money donations to Food Share will be matched up to $13,000.
