2021 Harbor Search and Find Cruise

As part of its 30th-anniversary activities, the Channel Islands Maritime Museum will be sponsoring a Search & Find Harbor Cruise from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 8, 2021.
Electric boats and dinghies less than 25 feet are invited to participate in this fun “Search & Find” mission. Participants will enjoy a Museum visit, a harbor cruise with a mission, and the chance to win some great prizes. Pre-registration is required with a $30 donation/per boat to the Museum. All proceeds benefit the Channel Islands Maritime Museum programs. Participants can register online at www.cimmvc.org or at the museum until August 7th.
“The Museum has always loved its Channel Islands Harbor home,” says CIMM Executive Director Adri Howe. “As a part of our 30th-anniversary celebration, we knew we wanted to feature the beauty of the harbor. This Search and Find Cruise lets us enjoy our home harbor while having a fun-filled day exploring and seeking out the answers to a variety of great clues!”

About Channel Islands Maritime Museum
Founded in 1991 and located in Oxnard’s Channel Islands Harbor, the Museum’s galleries feature rare and beautiful maritime paintings dating back to the 1600s, more than sixty world-class models of historic ships, rotating thematic fine arts exhibitions, and interactive exhibits that encourage visitors to expand their horizons about everything maritime. The Museum is currently open Thursday-Sunday, noon until 4 p.m.
