Bring your favorite beach chair or blanket, snacks, sunscreen and children and head down to Harbor View Park on May 8, 2022  to enjoy Fairy Tales in the Park.

Gypsies in a Trunk, an all-volunteer group of actors, performs Fairy Tales in the Park throughout Ventura County for the young and young-at-heart.

On August 7th, the performance presented will be The Adventures of Hansel & Gretel.

What’s a brother & sister to do? They’ve just found their father and stepmother want them out of the house for good and now they’re hopelessly lost in the forest! Maybe the Big Bad Wolf can help them find a way out? Nope! And now it looks like Grizzelda, the nasty forest witch, wants them over for dinner…and you know what THAT means!! Can quick-thinking Gretel find a way out of their predicament?

Location

Harbor View Park is located at 3600 Harbor Blvd. just south of Marine Emporium Landing in Oxnard. Curtain time is 2 p.m. and the show is designed to run approximately 45 minutes, which coincides with the attention span of the target age group, 3-10 year olds.

Shows are always free, but donations are welcome!
