Ventura County residents seeking a COVID-19 vaccination can receive a shot this Sunday at the Channel Islands Harbor. No appointment is necessary.
The clinic will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 1 at Harbor View Park, just south of Marine Emporium Landing. Marine Emporium Landing is located at 3600 Harbor Blvd. in Oxnard.
All individuals 12 years of age and older are eligible to be vaccinated. Please note, only Pfizer is approved for use for ages 12-17. Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be available for people 18 years and older.
For individuals 12-15 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must accompany the minor to a vaccination site, provide verification of identity and relationship, and give verbal consent for the minor to be vaccinated.

Set against a summer sky with sparkling water as a backdrop, visitors can enjoy a variety of musical selections at the Concerts by the Sea Summer Concert Series. The series is held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. each Saturday from July 10 to September 4 at Peninsula Park. Visitors are encouraged to bring picnics, blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy this fun family event. Mister Softee will also have its truck in attendance to serve delicious ice cream!
