Chowderfest 2019 Serves Up Food, Tunes, and Fun!

Foodies, music lovers, and those who like tasty beverages are in for a treat at the 5th Annual Chowderfest, scheduled from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4, 2019 at the Channel Islands Maritime Museum. This is the summer’s most relaxing Harbor-front party!

The event includes chowder and wine tastings, samples of side dishes and desserts from local restaurants, Firestone Walker beer (for sale), live entertainment by Kelly’s Lot and Friends (Truth Jones & Jim Gustin, and Primal Kings), admission to the Maritime Museum, and new this year – corn hole, photo booth, and spin-the-wheel!

Join the fun as area restaurants compete for the coveted “People’s Choice” award which is voted by event attendees, and “Best Seafood Chowder” as determined by celebrity judges.

All proceeds from the event benefit the Maritime Museum, a cultural gem in Ventura County, which celebrates 500 years of Art that Sails, and gives back to the community with family events and education programs for students throughout the year.

The price includes chowder, beer & wine tastings; a variety of side dishes; and free Museum admission. The museum welcomes the public and community to attend.
